"How's Your Communication"
January 11, 2014
Communicate (v.) - to impart knowledge of, make known, to give to another, transmit, to share in or partake of.
[L. communicatus; past participle of communicare- “to impart, or make common”]
Communication, the basis of successful relationships, involves the impartation of information, ideas, or feelings. In other words, whoever hears, sees, or perceives leaves the encounter in possession of something that they didn't arrive with. Based on definition alone, it begs to question are we truly communicating or simply talking and are we really listening or simply hearing... To master the art of communication begins with respecting what it is defined to be.
Join Pastor Selara R. Mann, Jr. as he takes an in-depth look at the importance of mastering the art of successful communication through the use of real-life scenarios and Biblical examples.
